The Bioscird Journal Club Reviews and Reports (BJCRR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, transparency, academic integrity, and responsible scholarly publishing. All individuals involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher, are expected to adhere to recognized ethical principles and professional standards.

The journal follows internationally accepted ethical publishing practices and supports the principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Responsibilities of Authors

Originality and Plagiarism: Submitted manuscripts must be original, free from plagiarism, and properly cite all referenced sources.
Multiple or Duplicate Submission: Manuscripts must not be submitted to more than one journal simultaneously.
Authorship Criteria: Only individuals who have made significant intellectual contributions to the research should be listed as authors. All co-authors must approve the final manuscript before submission.

2. Responsibilities of Editors

Fair Evaluation: Editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal scope.
Confidentiality: Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and related communications throughout the review process.
Ethical Oversight: Editors are responsible for addressing ethical concerns and may issue corrections, retractions, or other editorial notices when necessary.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Confidentiality: Manuscripts under review must be treated as confidential documents and must not be shared without authorization.
Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted fairly, professionally, and without personal bias.
Source Verification: Reviewers should identify relevant uncited literature and report suspected plagiarism or ethical concerns.
Conflict of Interest: Reviewers should disclose any conflicts of interest and decline review assignments where appropriate.

4. Responsibilities of the Publisher

Ethical Governance: The journal is committed to ethical publishing standards throughout all editorial and production processes.
Long-Term Preservation: Published content is preserved through secure digital archiving and storage systems to ensure permanent accessibility.
Corrections and Retractions: The journal may issue corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern where necessary to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

5. Handling Research Misconduct

BJCRR takes allegations of research misconduct seriously, including:

In cases of suspected misconduct, the journal may:
